The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has been dragged to the Federal High Court in Abuja by the Exam Ethics Marshals International.
The group is demanding that WAEC release the names of its officials aiding and abetting examination malpractice.
This came after WAEC announced in a press conference that it has sanctioned some examination administrators who aided and abetted malpractices between May 2013 and December 2014.
The suit which was filed with registration number FHC/ABJ/CS/487/2017 through the group’s lawyer, Jeremiah Akahazemea, is asking the court to compel WAEC to make public the names of the invigilators, supervisors and the students indicted in malpractice for prosecution.
